The Legacy Lattice
A Living Archive of Growth and Grit
The Legacy Lattice is an architectural map of an odyssey—be it the geography of a human life or the storied evolution of an empire. The installation is anchored by a backdrop of Corten steel, a material that lives, breathes, and oxidizes over time. This rugged, ever-changing surface represents the "messiness" of life: the weathered textures of struggle, the unpredictable patina of experience, and the raw, unpolished reality that forms the foundation of our journey.
Contrasting this raw backdrop is a precision-grid of 98 hollow stainless steel blocks—arranged 14 wide and 7 high. These blocks represent the face we show the world: the polished achievements, the shimmering milestones, and the intentional structures we build. Each block serves as a modular vault for a single year of history, inviting you to deposit a tangible fragment of time—a handwritten note, a photograph, or a significant artifact—into the heart of the "perfect" exterior.
The journey begins at the first coordinate with a triumphant "Hello, I’m Here" and concludes nearly a century later with the playful, poignant farewell, "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish." Whether serving as a "Life Block" diary or a corporate chronicle of innovation, the Legacy Lattice transforms the abstract passage of time into a physical monument where the brilliance of our success is forever inseparable from the grit of our story.
Selecting Your Scale
Depending on the gravity of the space, the Lattice manifests in three distinct physical presences:
-
The Personal Gallery (2" x 4" Blocks): Measuring 60" x 18", this is an intimate, horizontal slip of history. It fits perfectly above a desk or a mantle—a private conversation between your past and your present.
-
The Statement Installation (4" x 8" Blocks): At 116" x 32", this version demands a dedicated wall. Spanning nearly 10 feet, it turns a hallway or a board room into a literal timeline of progress.
-
The Monumental Archive (8" x 16" Blocks): A massive 228" x 60" (19 feet wide). This is a cathedral of memory. The 8"x16" stainless steel blocks allows for larger artifacts, creating a museum-grade installation for public spaces or grand estates.
